Our Clinic is staffed with highly-trained and experienced
individuals who wish to provide you with the best care possible.
Julie A. Liston, R.N., B.S., M.S.N., C.C.R.N., Director of
Nursing
Julie is one of the clinical nurses at Helena Cardiology
Clinic. She is a Wisconsin native who earned her Bachelor of Science
degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After
graduation, she worked in the Cardiac and Thoracic Surgical
Step-down and Heart/Lung transplant unit at the University of
Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics.
Upon moving to Helena in June of 1994, Julie worked in the St.
Peter’s Hospital Intensive Care Unit and also spent five years
working in the heart catheterization lab. During that time she
earned her certification as a Critical Care Registered Nurse. She
joined the clinic in June of 2001.
In the fall of 2003, she became one of the first 55 Cardiac Care
Associate members of the American College of Cardiology. Julie
earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix
online program in the fall of 2004.
Julie and her husband, Ken, have one son, Kenny.
Jacqueline D. Church B.S.N., R.N.
Jacque is a Helena native. She graduated in 2000 from Helena High
School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Montana
State University in 2005. She initially worked as a psychiatric
nursing supervisor and then shifted gears and joined the Helena
Cardiology Clinic in May of 2006.
Lisa Cummings, L.P.N., R.C.S., Director of Echocardiography
Services
Lisa is an L.P.N. who started with the Clinic as a new graduate
of the Helena College of Technology in November 1996. Lisa left the
Clinic in 2002 to return to her hometown of Great Falls to help care
for an ailing family member and returned to the Clinic in 2004.
Lisa added a new twist to her role as an L.P.N. in 2006 when she
began developing skills in echocardiography. She now performs
transthoracic echocardiography studies, transesophageal
echocardiography studies and stress echocardiography studies. Lisa
became the Director of Echocardiography services in April 2010. She
passed her national certification examinations in echocardiography
in August 2010 and is a Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer
(R.C.S.).
Lisa is married to Mark and they have two grown children. Son,
Trevor, is a crew chief for the Montana Air National Guard in Great
Falls. Their daughter, Somer, is a registered nurse and married to
Tony.
Lisa enjoys golf, camping and fishing in her spare time.
Kristi
L. Burnett
Kristi is a native of Washington state. She received her
Associate in Applied Science Degree in Vascular Technology at
Spokane Community College in Spokane, Washington. She has special
training in imaging peripheral vascular arteries and veins as well
as echocardiography. As part of
her training, she spent two months at this clinic before joining us
as the Director of Non-Invasive Vascular Imaging in the summer of
2010. She performs peripheral vascular imaging studies as well as
transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography
studies and stress echocardiography studies.
